BARRÄKAS (Costa Rica) - Their demo tape and self-released lathe-cut record are finally getting an official release. This anarcho-raw punk band from San José has been active since 2006. Both as a band and as individuals, they stand against sexism, xenophobia, racism, capitalism, authoritarianism, and all forms of fascism. They operate according to the D.I.Y. (Do-It-Yourself) ethic. For the band, punk is a counter-culture and a way of life that defies societal norms. The vinyl features five tracks with a distinct Central American vibe, the lyrics are, naturally, in Spanish. Their live shows are excellent, as evidenced by their European tour last July and their play at the MNFL festival. BARRÄKAS (Kostarika) - Jejich demokazeta a vlastním nákladem vydaný Lathe Cut se poprvé dostává oficiální edice. Anarcho-raw punková kapela ze San José je aktivní od roku 2006. Jako kapela i jako jednotlivci se staví proti sexismu, xenofobii, rasismu, kapitalismu, autoritarismu a všem formám fašismu. Pracují v souladu s etikou "udělej si sám" = D.I.Y. Pro kapelu je punk, kontra kulturou a způsobem života proti společenským standardům. Na vinylu se nachází 5 skladeb s jasným odkazem Střední Ameriky, texty jsou samozřejmě ve Španělštině. Jejich koncerty jsou velmi povedené, viz, červencové, evropské turné a hraní na MNFL festivalu. Vyšlo 300 kusů v kooperaci s dalšími labely, k dostání je klasicky černý
